About J.Lingnau

Joanna Lingnau grew up on the beaches of Bainbridge Island near Seattle, Washington, and the ocean continues to influence her life and work. Joanna studied literature and fine art at Sarah Lawrence College, attended the Université Paris-Sorbonne and FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology).

Formerly a designer at Katayone Adeli and Gap Inc among others, Joanna draws on beautiful jewelry and fabrication techniques from the past as her as her inspiration while keeping in mind the busy lives and desires of the women closest to her.

Jewelry is an intimate token of our most meaningful events and relationships. I aspire to make luxurious pieces that can be worn every day and be passed on for generations.

J.Lingnau jewelry is handmade in Chicago using recycled precious metals and natural stones. A portion of J.Lingnau profits are donated to organizations which restore health to women injured in childbirth and are dedicated to eliminating racism and empowering women.
