Joanna Lingnau grew up on the beaches of Bainbridge Island near Seattle, Washington. After studying literature and fine art at Sarah Lawrence College and the Université Paris-Sorbonne, she attended F.I.T. (Fashion Institute of Technology) to focus on design.
Drawing on beautiful jewelry and fabrication techniques from the past as her as her inspiration, Joanna designs every day luxuries for the modern woman.

J.Lingnau jewelry is handmade in Chicago using recycled precious metals and natural stones. A portion of J.Lingnau profits are donated to organizations dedicated to eliminating racism and empowering women.
